Student Council representatives from all four academic sections came together for their first joint meeting, marking the beginning of a collaborative effort to strengthen student leadership across the school.
With the participation of Mark Dunn, Elementary School Principal, and Debra Cortney, Pre School Principal, the session provided an opportunity for students to connect, share their motivations for serving, and reflect on the importance of representing their peers’ voices to help make JFK an even better place.
This initiative reflects our mission to lead, serve, and create beauty by inspiring students to act with purpose, collaborate with empathy, and contribute positively to their community. Through experiences like these, our student leaders bring our values to life—showing that leadership truly is action in motion.
Los representantes del Student Council de las cuatro secciones académicas se reunieron por primera vez en una sesión conjunta, marcando el inicio de un esfuerzo colaborativo para fortalecer el liderazgo estudiantil en toda la escuela.
Con la participación de Mark Dunn, Director de Elementary School, y Debra Cortney, Directora de Pre School, la sesión ofreció a los alumnos la oportunidad de conocerse, compartir sus motivaciones para servir y reflexionar sobre la importancia de representar la voz de sus compañeros para hacer del JFK un lugar aún mejor.
