Last weekend our General Director, Adrian Leece, was elected to be ASOMEX
President for a second consecutive term. This means he will carry on for another three years
representing and sharing best practices, professional development and student
events across all 20 member schools in Mexico, helping to keep the name of JFK
in the national and international spotlight.

About ASOMEX: The Association of American Schools in
Mexico is the oldest of the many regional school associations throughout
the world. Founded in 1957, the Association originally included eight American
Schools. Today, the association is made up of 18 member schools throughout
Mexico with a total enrollment of approximately 15,500 students and 1,250
teachers and administrators. These schools are private, non-profit institutions
committed to offering an American type educational program, while also meeting
the requirements of the Mexican Secretariat of Education. The purpose of
the Association of American Schools in Mexico is to provide a collective means
of serving the needs and interests of the member schools through a spirit of
sharing ideas, programs, facilities and experiences, as well as the sharing of

semana pasado nuestro Director General, Adrian Leece, fue elegido para ser
Presidente de ASOMEX por segundo término consecutivo. Esto significa que
continuará por otros tres años representando y compartiendo las mejores

Acerca de ASOMEX: La Asociación de Escuelas Americanas en
México es la más antigua de las muchas asociaciones escolares regionales en
todo el mundo. Fundada en 1957, la Asociación originalmente incluía ocho
Escuelas Americanas. Hoy en día, la asociación está compuesta por 18 escuelas
miembro en todo México con una matrícula total de aproximadamente 15,500
