Our 3rd grade students concluded their unit of inquiry by demonstrating their understanding of the central idea: “When we understand what matter is like and how it changes, we can create new things that help us.”
Through a Science Market, students “sold” different products and explained to visitors the form and function of matter in each one, as well as the type of change the product underwent and the process they followed to achieve it.
This activity allowed students to apply their knowledge in a hands-on way, develop communication skills, and reinforce meaningful learning in a creative and collaborative environment.

Nuestros alumnos de 3° grado realizaron el cierre de su unidad de indagación demostrando su comprensión de la idea central: “Cuando entendemos cómo es la materia y cómo cambia, podemos crear cosas nuevas que nos ayudan”.
A través de un mercadito científico, los alumnos “vendieron” distintos productos y explicaron a sus visitantes la forma y función de la materia de cada uno, así como el tipo de cambio que experimentó y el proceso que siguieron para lograrlo.
Esta actividad les permitió aplicar sus conocimientos de manera práctica, desarrollar habilidades de comunicación y reforzar el aprendizaje significativo en un ambiente creativo y colaborativo.
