From October 1 to 4, members of the Student Council (StuCo) proudly represented our school at the ASOMEX Leadership Conference 2025, held at the American School Foundation of Chiapas. This event brought together young leaders from different ASOMEX schools to share ideas, strengthen leadership skills, and live meaningful experiences.
During four days of activities, participants attended keynote conferences led by educators and international leaders, who shared their insights and perspectives on the current challenges of youth leadership.
In addition, students took part in peer-led presentations and a Creative Expression Challenge, where they put into practice their critical thinking, collaboration, and innovation skills.
The event also offered dynamic workshops such as Ignite Leadership, Leading Forward: Women Breaking Barriers, EmpowerUp, and The Emotionally Aware Leader, which encouraged participants to reflect on the power of empathetic, inclusive, and mindful leadership.
Beyond the formal sessions, students enjoyed unique cultural experiences, exploring the natural and historical richness of Chiapa de Corzo and the majestic Sumidero Canyon, strengthening bonds between communities and celebrating the diversity that characterizes ASOMEX schools.
Without a doubt, this experience left a deep mark on our StuCo representatives, who returned inspired, motivated, and committed to continue transforming their school environment through leadership, empathy, and forward-thinking vision.

Del 1 al 4 de octubre, los alumnos del Consejo Estudiantil (StuCo) representaron con orgullo a nuestra escuela en el ASOMEX Leadership Conference 2025, celebrado en el American School Foundation of Chiapas. Este evento reunió a jóvenes líderes de diferentes escuelas ASOMEX para compartir ideas, fortalecer habilidades de liderazgo y vivir experiencias trascendentes.
Durante cuatro días, los participantes asistieron a conferencias magistrales impartidas por educadores y líderes internacionales, quienes compartieron su experiencia y perspectivas sobre los retos actuales del liderazgo juvenil.
Además, los alumnos participaron en presentaciones dirigidas por sus pares y en un Reto de Expresión Creativa, donde pusieron en práctica su pensamiento crítico, colaboración e innovación.
El evento también ofreció talleres dinámicos como Ignite Leadership, Leading Forward: Women Breaking Barriers, EmpowerUp y The Emotionally Aware Leader, que invitaron a reflexionar sobre el poder del liderazgo empático, inclusivo y consciente.
Más allá de las sesiones formales, los alumnos disfrutaron de experiencias culturales únicas, explorando la riqueza natural y patrimonial de Chiapa de Corzo, y el majestuoso Cañón del Sumidero, fortaleciendo así los lazos entre comunidades y celebrando la diversidad que caracteriza a las escuelas ASOMEX.
Sin duda, esta experiencia dejó una huella profunda en nuestros representantes del StuCo, quienes regresaron inspirados, motivados y comprometidos a seguir transformando su entorno escolar con liderazgo, empatía y visión de futuro.
