In our K2 unit, “Where Are We in Place and Time,” the K2 students have been exploring how people use a variety of tools, materials, and resources every day to carry out different activities. They have learned about everyday tools and how these tools have evolved over time, making tasks in daily life easier and more efficient.
As part of this learning journey, we invited parents to share their work tools and how these have changed over time. Some of the tools presented included the telephone, the camera, and many others. The children were fascinated and amazed at how much these tools have transformed, and they enjoyed learning about their history and usage.
This experience has been both fun and educational, sparking curiosity and encouraging the children to think about the evolution of the tools they use in their own lives.
Unidad de K2 – Dónde estamos en el tiempo y en el espacio
En nuestra unidad de K2, “¿Dónde estamos en el tiempo y en el espacio?”, los alumnos de K2 han estado explorando cómo las personas utilizan una variedad de herramientas, materiales y recursos todos los días para llevar a cabo diferentes actividades. Han aprendido sobre herramientas de uso cotidiano y cómo estas han evolucionado con el paso del tiempo, facilitando las tareas de la vida diaria.
Como parte de este aprendizaje, invitamos a los padres de familia a compartir sus herramientas de trabajo y cómo estas han cambiado a lo largo del tiempo. Algunas de las herramientas que se presentaron fueron el teléfono, la cámara y varias más. Los niños quedaron fascinados y asombrados de cómo estas herramientas han cambiado, y disfrutaron mucho aprendiendo sobre su historia y uso.
Esta experiencia ha sido divertida y educativa, despertando la curiosidad y motivando a los alumnos a reflexionar sobre la evolución de las herramientas que utilizan en su vida diaria.
